First entry

What a lame name of an entry right? Actually I didn't plan to write a blog, just a diary for my own very personal purposes, but now - after a certain guy at work (hello!) recommended me to do so... well, here we go! Though in english, see this blog will serve several purposes... ummm... at least like a few... first it will be for my friends and family to follow my adventures, secondly, it'll be a way for my hosts that I'll meet on my adventures to get to know me better - before - or after they host me. Last of all I'll use it as a personal notebook, to keep track on what I need to do.

Newcomers then... "what adventures?" You probably ask... well the adventures that will accompany me through life from now on what do you think? A lot of really cool things will happen in my life in the upcoming weeks and they have potential to be worth written about. First of all I'll go to New York City on a buisness trip, a buisness trip I actually won, hmmm... it's actually called a "study trip" and we're supposed to study "how to take good care of customers", exciting, can't wait to see what it's all about, hope there are not so many secret things we learn so that my entries will be blank during that trip...

After I get home I'll work for two days, then go Interrail for a month throughout Europe.... when I get home I've determined my adventures will continue, at work, with my surfers, when improving my running, when writing, when talking, when making new friends, when planning more trips.

See... I've recently discovered that my everyday life is pretty sweet after all, I meet people from all over the world through couchsurfing - it's magic! This magic is dotted with nice practical things that make life possible and also make me realise that the world around me is only partly a magical adventure, the boxes at my job in the warehouse tend to be at the same place every day and the houses where I go running in the evenings actually are the same day after day - which in comparision to everything else that's ever changing is a bit magic in itself!

This blog is about the next few years, years full of magic, cardboard boxes and adventures, probably some grief, but mostly happiness I hope!
